How do I cite in Bluebook format?

Answer

Typically laws, court cases, and other legal documents are cited using Bluebook format.  Even styles like APA, Chicago, and MLA direct you to The Bluebook for citing these materials or say they follow the Bluebook format for citation.  How to cite a source in Bluebook will depend upon what source you have.  For the most thorough treatment, look at theThe Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation, available at the Library Reference Desk or check out The Bluebook's Quick Style Guide.
