How to cite sources that have more than one author in a works cited page for MLA?
Answer
To cite sources with more than one author in MLA, you list the authors in the order they appear in the source in the works cited entry. If there are three or more authors, just list the first author followed by “et al.”. The name of the first author is written with the last name first, then the first name, and then the middle name or middle initial if provided. The second author is listed with their name in regular order.
One Author: George, William
Two Authors: George, William, and Rose Potter
Three or More Authors: George, William et al.
