How to cite sources that have more than one author in CSE reference list?

Answer

To cite sources with more than one author in CSE, you must include up to 5 authors in the order they appear in the source in the reference list entry. All authors are listed with last name and the initials of the author’s first and middle (if provided) names without periods or spaces between the initials and without a comma after the last name.

One Author: Smith TE

Two-Five Authors: Smith TE, Jones ST, Doe JD.

When a source has more than 5 authors, list the first author and follow it by et al.

Smith TE et al.
