How to cite sources that have more than one author in CSE reference list?

Answer

To cite sources with more than one author in CSE, you must include up to 10 authors in the order they appear in the source in the reference list entry .

One Author: Smith TE

Two Authors: Smith TE and Jones ST.

Three Authors: Smith TE, Jones ST, Doe JD.

Ten Authors: Smith TE, Jones ST, Doe JD, Smythe EF, Doyle ED, Clarke EC, Grisham Z, Calabrese NL, Albitz R, Burns L.

When a source has more than 10 authors, list the first 10 and follow it by et al.  All authors are listed with last name and the initials of the author’s first and middle (if provided) names without periods or spaces between the initials and without a comma after the last name.

Smith TE, Jones ST, Doe JD, Smythe EF, Doyle ED, Clarke EC, Grisham Z, Calabrese NL, Albitz R, Burns L et al.
