What link should I save to a library source?
Answer
FoxHunt and library databases each provide links to a source and of course there is a link at the top of the browser window, but which one will get you back to the source?
For many library databases and FoxHunt, the link at the top of the browser will be temporary links created by your search so they will no longer function. So the links at the top of the browser window are not ones to bookmark or save. You’ll need to get a link from the database or FoxHunt that will work for the long term.
Check out the library’s guide “How to Get Permanent Links to Library Sources” to see which databases require you to save a permanent link and which databases don’t.
