Can I get a public library card?

Answer

A free Poughkeepsie Public Library District card is available to all people who live, own property, or attend school in the City or Town of Poughkeepsie, which includes Marist students. All you need is proof of identification and status. You can apply online for a public library card for the Mid-Hudson Library System here: https://midhudson.org/get-a-library-card/

If you are a resident of New York, you can also apply for a digital library card to the New York Public Library here: https://www.nypl.org/library-card/new

Both library cards allow you to not only access the physical library resources and events, but also allow you to access ebooks, audiobooks, and a variety of other interesting items on your e-reader, phone, computer, or tablet.

If you need further help, contact a librarian.
