How can I get a Course Guide?
Answer
Contact your Library Liaison to request a Course Guide for your class. We can often get started based upon your syllabus or a description of your course and assignments, so please feel free to include those with your request. Subsequent conversations can take place over email, telephone, or in a virtual/in-person meeting.
Course Guides can vary in scale and complexity depending upon your course needs and the information that you share with your liaison.
They can contain:
- Required readings and videos
- Recommended or supplemental materials
- Information literacy tips and resources
- Recommended databases and journals
- Citation guidance
- Course specific digital and print materials from the library
- Links to trusted open access and web content
- An access point to all of the ways that your students can connect with a librarian for help
- You can view example Course Guides using the link below.
You can provide us with specific content or identify topics and let your Library Liaison curate resources based upon your course goals.
If you need further help, contact a librarian.
