How do I cite book/eBook chapters in CSE?

Answer

CSE recommends citing book chapters as follows:

For edited books (chapters written by different authors):

Chapter Author Last Name Author First Initial(s).*  Book Year. Chapter title. In: Editor Last Name First      Initial(s), editor(s).* Book title. Edition (if applicable). Publication Place: Publisher. p. Chapter page      numbers.

Same Author(s) for entire book:

Book Author Last Name First Initial(s).* Book Year. Book title. Publication Place: Publisher. Chapter title      (including chapter number); p. Chapter page numbers.

Van Evera S. 1997. Guide to methods for students of political science. Ithaca(NY): Cornell University Press.      Hypotheses, laws, and theories: a user's guide, chapter 1. p. 7-14.
