Chicago recommends citing an eBook from a library database as follows:

 

Footnotes:

  1. Author First Name Author Last Name, Title of Book (Publisher, Publication year), Page number, URL or Database Name.

 

  1. Paul Downes, Democracy, Revolution and Monarchism in Early American Literature (Cambridge, 2002), 47, Ebook Central.

 

Bibliography:

 

    Author last name, Author first name. Book Title. Publisher, Publication Date. URL or 

              Database Name.

 

Downes, Paul. Democracy, Revolution and Monarchism in Early American Literature.

              Cambridge, 2002. Ebook Central.
