How do I cite video or audio of a recorded lecture from Brightspace in MLA Style?
Answer
Your professor may or may not require you to cite a recorded lecture, so check with them.
MLA suggests citing a video of a lecture as an oral presentation. Example for citing a class lecture:
Last name, First name of professor. Course Number and Name. Day Mon. Year, Marist University, Poughkeepsie. Class lecture.
Mendoza, Hector. First Year Seminar 101: Your Mind on Metaphors. 11 Mar. 2010, Marist University, Poughkeepsie. Class lecture.
*Note that you should include the title of the lecture in quotes if one is available.
