How do I cite a website in ACS Style?

Answer

ACS Style requires the following for website citations:

  • Author/Organization Name
  • Title of Webpage, the specific individual page you are looking at
  • Website Name, if different than organization name, the larger site that houses the individual page
  • Publication Date, if available
  • URL
  • Access date

For webpages with a person as author

1. Author Last Name, First Initial(s). Title of Webpage. Website Name, Publication Date. URL (accessed Year-Month-Day).
