How do I cite a source in-text that doesn’t have page numbers in CSE Style?
Answer
This question reflects guidance provided in both the 8th and 9th editions of CSE Style as no changes were made in the new edition.
CSE does not require page numbers in in-text citations. Since CSE Style does not require the inclusion of page numbers in-text, having an article number instead of page numbers does not affect the formatting of your in-text citation.
Example: (Author Last Name(s) Publication Year)
(Smith 2004)
